Ashley Wahiaronkwas Morris
AshleyAshley Wahiaronkwas Morris is Wolf Clan and from the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory in Quebec, Canada, where she was born, raised and continues to reside. She is currently in her final semester of study at Concordia University in the B.A. Sociology program and will be continuing studies at the graduate level soon after, where she plans to pursue a career in community based development. Ashley's areas of interest include Indigenous governance, cultural revitalization and the promotion of post-secondary education among Aboriginal youth. Being a Native woman, she has had the opportunity to see first hand how pursing her education will not only be of benefit to herself but also has provided her with the tools to work with her community and assist with Native youth across Turtle Island (North America).
