Location: Browning, MT

Running Strong for Blackfeet Indian Youth is a running group of approximately one hundred youth, ages 9 to 18. Each year, the group trains together to participate in 3 large races: the Ice Breaker 5M Race and Governor’s Cup Races in Montana and the Bloomsday 12K Race in Washington.

The group is important for Blackfeet youth because it:
• provides a drug and alcohol intervention program
• encourages health and wellness
• entices youth to pursue running
• involves parents as training monitors.

Running Strong provides general support for Running Strong for Blackfeet Indian Youth.
