Since 1988, with the help of individual supporters, Christian Relief Services Charities has made sure that thousands of needy families have a wholesome Thanksgiving meal by providing and delivering fresh turkeys and the fixings (fresh apples, canned vegetables and baked goods. 

Christian Relief Services Charities and Running Strong provided fresh turkeys to families to:
• 5,940 families in South Dakota
• 2,500 families in Montana
• 2,332 families in Oklahoma
• 2,500 families in New Mexico
• 1,720 families in North Dakota
