American Indian families that are struggling to feed and clothe their children during the school year do not have any money left over to spend on the school supplies and books that their children need.

With many public schools under-funded on the reservations, there are not many extra school supplies to go around for these children.

Running Strong remembers how important a new backpack and the right supplies were to starting the school year off right.

To show these children how important an education is and how much we believe in them, Running Strong is providing backpacks full of pencils, pens, paper, and other supplies to children in 6 states.
