Q: When is the next tour?
A: The 19th Annual Reservation Tour will take place from September 7-13, 2008.

Q: How do I register?
A: You can register online or by mail. To register by mail, download our Tour Brochure (PDF) and fill out our Tour Registration Form. Send that and your $200 deposit, or full payment, to our headquarters office in Virginia. We will notify you in writing of your reservation confirmation.
Registration closes August 1, 2008 and the tour is filled on a first-come first-serve basis.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: The tour costs $1,089 per person for a double room or $1,399 per person for a single room. 2008 Members in Good Standing receive 5% off the tour cost.

Q: What do I get for that price?
A: The tour fee covers: • Pre-packet of information, including a detailed itinerary and background information about the area and programs. • Hotel accommodations for an entire week (Sunday to Sunday) • An evening with Billy Mills • All meals (except one lunch and three dinners) • Air conditioned fully appointed tour bus • Admission fees to all sites and museums • Knowledgeable guides • Goody bag filled with Running Strong umbrella and other items • Lakota language lesson • Complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the week • Official tour t-shirt.
Please be aware that travel to and from South Dakota, all personal expenses, gratuities, and some meals are NOT included in the tour registration fee.

Q: Who else will be on the tour?
A: People of all ages and from all regions of the country come on the Running Strong Tour. The tour is a great way to meet many different people who are all curious, adventurous, and supporters of the work Running Strong does. You will also meet local community leaders, guest speakers, and Running Strong staff who will be traveling with the tour.

Q: Do you have participants that travel alone?
A: Yes, every year we have many participants who come on the tour as solo travelers. Running Strong considers all tour participants to be family and we have found every tour is made up of the nicest groups of people. Once you arrive in Rapid City you will quickly meet a unique group of people who share your unique interest in supporting American Indian youth.

Q: What do you mean by 2008 Member-In-Good-Standing?
 2008 Member-In-Good-Standing Identification Card A: A 2008 Member-In-Good-Standing is a supporter of Running Strong for American Indian Youth® who has donated to our important cause in the past calendar year. If you are a member in good standing, you should have received an identification card in the mail with your seven digit number.
