Thank you for making our 2007 Toys for Tribes Christmas toy drive our most successful yet! Every year, Running Strong and the Cheyenne River Youth Project® (CRYP) work hard to ensure that children on the Cheyenne River Reservation have a safe and happy Christmas. Cheyenne River children grow up in dire poverty and isolation and Running Strong believes that it is especially important to make sure they know they are not forgotten during the holidays. Every year, CRYP has the kids in their youth project write "Dear Santa" letters. THIS YEAR, EVERY CHILD WHO WROTE A LETTER TO SANTA RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE TOY FROM HIS OR HER LIST. WITH YOUR SUPPORT, WE WERE ABLE TO REACH MORE THAN 1,000 CHILDREN THIS HOLIDAY SEASON. Wopila (thank you in Lakota) for your generosity.
